Welcome to the 6th TUM Multidisciplinary Conference and Innovation Week. This conference welcomes academics, researchers, practitioners and innovators from different disciplines, for knowledge exchange and networking. It will offer a forum for academics and researchers to showcase research processes and methodologies that are aligned to the conference theme. It will also provide an opportunity for practitioners and innovators to demonstrate how their innovations are changing the world.
The Government of Kenya is focusing on four critical pillars, christened, the Big Four Agenda, to achieve its sustainable developmental agenda. These are food security, affordable housing, affordable healthcare and job creation through manufacturing. The Bottom-up agenda is in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and Kenya’s Vision 2030.

Concept
As a Technical University of Science, Technology, and Engineering with patented innovations and
research papers for years, we are passionate about developing the community Innovation
ecosystem by joining the Government of Kenya in focusing on Vision 2030 to achieve its
sustainable development agenda.
This conference welcomes academicians, researchers, practitioners, and innovators from different
disciplines for knowledge exchange and networking. It will offer a forum for academics and
researchers to showcase research processes and methodologies aligned with the conference theme.
It will also allow practitioners and innovators to demonstrate how their innovations change the
world and expose them to possible commercialization opportunities.
