Abstract

Youth preparedness for digital employment reviews young people’s readiness to participate in today’s digital workforce. It investigates the competencies of the youth toward technology to find gaps and how to fill them. This review provides a line of reflection for educational institutions and training programs in providing young people with the requisite digital skills to face digital globalisation. It investigates emerging trends, difficulties, and best practices for digital employment preparedness initiatives. Understanding the dynamics of youth preparedness for digital employment will assist in attempting to improve policies, programs, and interventions aimed at improving young people’s access to and success in the digital workforce, which is becoming the main thing in employment during these economic hard times.
